zero build labs, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the adla mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use adla. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

- Email address — collected when you register or sign in with Google or Apple
- Username — the display name you choose when setting up your profile
- Profile information — any optional information you choose to add to your profile

- Location data — if you grant location permission, your device's location is used to provide hyperlocal chat features. We do not store your precise location on our servers. Location is used in real time to connect you to nearby chat rooms and is not retained after your session.
- Device information — basic device identifiers and operating system information used to operate and improve the App
- Usage data — information about how you interact with the App, such as features used and session duration

If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, we receive basic account information from those providers (typically your email address and a unique identifier) in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

- Provide and operate the App's features, including hyperlocal chat
- Identify you to other users by your username
- Respond to support requests and communicate with you about your account

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account:
- Your profile and personal information are permanently deleted
- Messages you sent in shared chat rooms are anonymized (your username is replaced with "deleted user") and are no longer associated with your identity
- Private messages are permanently deleted
6. location data
adla uses your device location to provide hyperlocal chat features. Location access is optional — you can deny or revoke location permission at any time through your device settings. We do not store your precise location on our servers and do not use location data for advertising or profiling.
7. children's privacy
adla is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected information from a user under 18, we will promptly delete that information and terminate the account.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the Effective Date at the top of this document or through in-app notification. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
